This is a sick, demented tragedy that hits close to home for me, as I have friends who are current VT students or VT alumni. As one of my fellow Virginia bloggers said, today is a day of darkness.

I'm wondering how long the nutroots are going to blame this on Bush, since it delayed the Gonzales inquisition...er, questioning.

They won't be able to, at least not in Virginia. Politically speaking, a lot of conservatives and pro-2nd Amendment pundits are "mobilized", for lack of a better term, to fend off any liberal slant or slander.

So far, the coverage down here has been pretty much down-the-middle and humane, which is refreshing.

Of course, CBS and ABC News both didn't waste any time turning this into a political issue, but readers/viewers on both sides of the political spectrum apparently aren't happy with that, and I agree with them as well.
